Abstract

Investigations using ultraviolet light traps were carried out in the summer of 2024. As a result of research realized on the territory of the Orhei National Park, a rare species Aulonium trisulcum (Geoffroy, 1785) was collected. It is a saproxylic species that was reported for the second time after a century of coleopterological research in the present territory of the Republic of Moldova. A revision of the species of the Zopheridae family, which includes 8 species belonging to 8 genera, all of which are saproxylic, was carried out. The work includes the number of specimens and previous citations of the species identified on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
