The centenary of the passing into eternity of the conservative-progressive political leader Alexandru Marghiloman († May 10, 1925) is a blessed opportunity to honor and keep his memory alive. The present study aims to highlight the final thoughts, wishes, and moments of the existence of the “Wallachian lord”, the final stage of his life, and the funeral rites held in his memory, as recorded by the press of the time.
