The present study summarizes the literature data on abdominal neuroblastoma in children as well as the diagnostic and treatment algorithm. Neuroblastoma is the most common pediatric extracranial solid tumor in children under one year of age. Globally, neuroblastoma surgery has recorded significant successes and progress, but it still remains a topic of discussion in specialized publications. The majority of children are diagnosed by the age of 5-6. The predominance of sympathetic nervous system tumors in young children is conditioned by a number of peculiarities in the development of this system of the human body. The prognosis is unfavorable in children with neuroblastoma associated with metastases in the liver, bones, skin, etc. and if it is detected at the age of over 18 months. Only 25-50% of patients have localized neuroblastoma at diagnosis
