Wheat, Fusarium solani, variability, heritability, genetic advantageAbstract
Specific reactions of the common wheat seedling to the fungus Fusarium solani were found according to the genotype, growth organ, isolate. In the reaction of the growth organs to F. solani isolates, the share of the isolate factor amounted to 50...62%, genotype – 17...27%. Genotype – isolate interactions recorded 18-25% (p<0.5). Relatively high values of the coefficient of heritability (h2) and genetic progress (GAM, %) – 0.64 and 28%, respectively, were found for the length of the stem. The genotypes Amor, Centurion, Miranda, Moldova 55, Moldova 614 showed resistance to F. solani and offer opportunities for their involvement in the creation of new genotypes.
