Rezumat

Pe parcursul ultimelor decenii, se înregistrează o schimbare semnificativă a dinamicii populației și a percepțiilor privind vârsta reproductivă. Oportunitățile educaționale și profesionale îmbunătățite pentru femei, împreună cu schimbările sociale și culturale, progresele în domeniul medical și accesul extins la contracepție eficientă reprezintă factorii care au contribuit la amânarea concepției copilului, vârsta maternă avansată fiind asociată cu rezultate materne și fetale mai precare. În societatea contemporană deciziile luate privind timpul conceperii trebuie să fie informate, cu conștientizarea și asumarea riscurilor. Scopul prezentului studiu rezidă în evaluarea caracteristicilor medico-sociale ale sarcinilor și nașterilor la femei de vârstă maternă avansată și asocierea acestor caracteristici cu vârsta. A fost efectuat studiul observațional descriptiv transversal selectiv pe un eșantion de 528 de femei cu vârsta între 35-49 de ani, examinată relația reciprocă dintre variabilele medico-sociale asociate cu vârsta reproductivă avansată. Datele au fost analizate și rezumate utilizând statistici descriptive și statistici inferențiale (Chi-pătrat), cu semnificație stabilită pentru intervalul de încredere de 95%. Au fost identificate diferențe statistice semnificative între un șir de variabile medico-sociale asociate cu vârsta maternă avansată, cum ar fi bolile cronice preexistente, paritatea, informarea despre riscurile legate de vârsta maternă avansată. Rezultatele studiului pot servi drept temei pentru viitoarele cercetări orientate spre identificarea intervențiilor eficiente de asigurare a managementului riscului, prevenirea complicațiilor sarcinii și nașterii și îmbunătățirea rezultatelor materno-fetale în această categorie de femei.
